4. Third-party data in evidence files

When you build a file, the Service records public information about the site using your image (page content, server IP address, public domain data). This processing is based on the legitimate interest in establishing, exercising and defending legal claims. It is limited to the pages you report. When a site pays for a licence, its billing details are collected by Stripe and shared with the author, to issue the invoice. The person concerned can exercise their rights by writing to support@frolay.com.

5. Security

Encrypted connection (HTTPS), passwords hashed with scrypt, HttpOnly session cookie, limited login attempts, application isolated on the server with restricted rights.

6. Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection (for processing based on legitimate interest) and data portability. You may also set instructions for what happens to your data after your death.

  • Directly in the application: Settings → Account → My data → “Download my data” (full export in JSON format) or “Delete my account” (permanent erasure and cancellation of the subscription).
  • By e-mail: support@frolay.com. We reply within one month at most.

If you believe your rights are not respected, you can lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority (3 place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07, France — www.cnil.fr), or with the data protection authority of the EU country where you live. In the United Kingdom, you can contact the ICO (ico.org.uk).
